a few weeks ago
I was walking to the
train station after work
when I heard somebody calling
out to me

a van had pulled up at a
zebra crossing to allow someone
across the road

mate, said the driver
looking me in the eye
mate, I've shit me pants.
that's unfortunate, I said.

then I went home and forgot about it
until today.
I still don't know what it
means
